Title: Director, Finance Portfolio
Location: Virtual, remote worker location possible
We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Finance Portfolio to lead the financial portfolio and performance management of our first party games. It involves overseeing performance management, mid and long-term financial planning, and comprehensive reporting and analysis to support long-term investment decisions. This position will report to the Senior Director, Financial Planning & Infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
• Performance Management:
• Oversee the financial performance management framework for Studio Business Group. Lead the process of analyzing portfolio performance using advanced metrics and data visualization tools.
• Coordinate with relevant teams to provide a complete view of studios and portfolio health in Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Monitor and ensure delivery of actions and financial performance targets. Provide recommendations based on performance indicators to optimize portfolio health, make informed investment decisions, and guide resource allocation.
• Mid- and Long-Term Financial Portfolio Planning:
• Support the portfolio management process for long-term investment decisions.
• Develop sophisticated financial modeling, providing strategic insights, risk assessments, and trusted advisory to evaluate various portfolio scenarios and support the achievement of financial goals. Provide structured and ad-hoc analyses, delivering objective, data-driven business cases to facilitate informed decisions.
• Guide the financial planning and analysis processes for the mid-range planning (MRP). Ensure alignment with broader organizational financial strategies.
• Transform complex data into compelling storytelling presentations for senior stakeholders.
• Leadership and Continuous Improvement:
• Lead and coach a team of financial analysts, providing supervision, feedback and facilitating their development.
• Identify and drive improvements in financial reporting and analysis processes. Support finance improvement projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of gaming industry trends and conduct benchmarking analyses. Stay informed about broader industry developments and key business metrics to provide relevant insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
• BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in financial portfolio management, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), and advanced financial modeling. Proven track record in managing sophisticated financial analyses and reporting.
• Experience in the gaming industry or consulting with a deep understanding of portfolio performance frameworks and industry dynamics.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial and conceptual information clearly to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and Extensive expertise in developing and utilizing advanced financial modeling, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial planning/data analysis tools.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
