About The Role:
We are collaborating with an acclaimed multidisciplinary art and design studio known for its use of mixed media, that is seeking an adaptable, highly organized, and proactive Design Assistant to join their team.
Within this role, you will assist in the creative process from concept to execution by using your strong photography and graphics skills. The ideal candidate will have solid photography skills, excel in a fast-paced, creative environment, and have a strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and understanding of web development basics (HTML, JavaScript, CSS).

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to conceptualize and create digital renderings for artworks, installations, and exhibitions
- Photograph pieces and professionally edit images
- Develop and design publications, proposals, and other promotional materials
- Coordinate with galleries and institutions to deliver graphics and materials for exhibitions and presentations
- Organize and maintain a well-structured digital archive of artworks, exhibitions, and project files
- Maintain the studio’s website with the latest works and details of up and coming events and exhibitions
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Experience in documenting artwork, with expertise in camera settings, lighting, and RAW file processing
- Advanced retouching skills (masking, non-destructive editing, and color correction)
- Proficient in batch photo editing, organization, and ensuring alignment with the artist’s vision
- Adept at creating fabrication designs and visual layouts for exhibitions and installations
- Well-versed in design grids, data merging, and preparing professional print-ready files
- Knowledgeable in 3D modeling and rendering tools for conceptualizing sculptures and installations
- Proficient in website maintenance and customization (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PH)
- Highly organized, quick to adapt, and efficient at managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of working both independently and in a creative team
- Excels under tight deadlines
- A passion for art, design, and supporting creative endeavors
