You will partner with internal Mobile FP&A, Commercial and Mobile Studio Leadership teams and report to the Director of FP&A. Our Mobile team creates engaging and evolving daily entertainment through mobile games people love to play. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in office working from either our Los Angeles, CA, Redwood Shores, CA or Vancouver, Canada office.
Knowledge of the gaming industry, especially free to play business models, advertising and user acquisition are a significant advantage.
What You'll Do:
Business Partnering
• Manage the holistic health of the two mobile studios, including full P&L responsibility
• Provide strategic advice and partnership to two mobile studios
• Effectively develop strong relationships with key leadership to help deliver the long-term strategy
• Drive and assist teams to provide timely and accurate reporting and analysis to assist with decision making and value creation.
• Influence key decisions by understanding the big picture combined with providing underlying deep financial analysis and insight
• Prepare and hold business reviews for EA's leadership team with clear and actionable presentation materials
Financial Forecasting and Reporting
• Develop and collaborate with Studio and Commercial team on long range, annual and quarterly revenue forecasts
• Lead financial reviews with budget owners to develop annual plans and subsequent forecast updates
• Drive insightful analysis to highlight variance drivers and identify opportunities to mitigate risk and improve performance

• Responsible for purchase order approvals, budgeted spend tracking, monthly close activities, and headcount management. Set control processes in place to manage spending and headcount within plan.
Monthly and Quarterly Close
• Manage all close activities for assigned departments including identifying and preparing accrual and reclass entries to ensure precise accounting of known activities
• Ensure compliance with EA's policies and procedures.
Drive FP&A Excellence
• Play a crucial role in building and retaining our world-class FP&A team.
• Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve, standardize and automate forecasting and reporting tools and processes

Preferred Experience and Technical Skills
• Bachelor's degree required. MBA or CPA preferred
• Minimum 6 years of related financial experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting and general GAAP knowledge
• Excellent MS Excel (can perform complex functions) and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Power BI and Oracle preferred
• British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
• $89,300 - $123,000 CAD
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
• $103,200 - $145,600 USD
