Job Summary
The Real-Time Generalist will have exceptional teamwork capabilities and a strong passion for computer animation and visual effects as it relates to the themed attraction and special venues industry. This role is ideal for candidates with strong 3D modeling and texturing skills, an understanding of Unreal Engine’s blueprint system for visual scripting, and a willingness to learn about new technologies applicable to our field.
Essential Functions:
- Utilize and interpret Unreal Engine blueprints and sequencer tools.
- Implement object/camera animations, stage elements, and events in multiple environments.
- Ability to 3D model, UV, and Texture assets.
- Coordinate with the CG Asset team to integrate assets into game engines.
- Work closely with supervisor to lay out and create environments for immersive experiences .
- Problem solve and determine out-of-the-box solutions for complex technical requirements.
- Work with developers in the Real-Time department to implement gameplay features/mechanics.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Possess a film or game design degree or have at least 1 year of comparable experience in production in a professional setting.
- Experience with Unreal Engine is essential.
- Solid knowledge of Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop.
- Proficient in Blueprints.
- Solid understanding of lighting, particle systems, post-processes, material setup, and general workflows inside Unreal Engine.
- Experience working with a team in a mixed software environment.
- Candidate must be organized, self-motivated, proactive, problem solver, communicative, and a team player.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
- Will not require Falcon's Treehouse, LLC to commence ("sponsor") an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
