RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help build, protect, and evolve our brand identity across multiple channels, mediums, and platforms
- Help establish and build the creative direction for the company as well as leverage established brand guidelines
- Ability to plan, lead, and direct creative shoots with our ambassadors, affiliates, and models to generate high-impact creative content
- Design and write comprehensive creative briefs that apply the overarching brand strategy, audience insights, campaign objective, and
customer journey to a creative approach that's unique to the particular campaign-- providing clear direction, visual inspiration, style guides, and creative big idea thought-starters.
- Present these briefs to leadership and partner teams in order to have alignment before the work begins.
- Have a vast knowledge of creative agencies and engage them with a brief, overseeing and directing sessions, and reworking/guiding creative decks. Present decks to leadership, as well as encouraging direct reports to present.
- Oversee the creation and evolution of brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and sales teams to align creative efforts with product launches and promotional activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 10 years design direction and management experience, collaborating with and counseling senior executives (C-suite, Managing Directors, Subject Matter Experts, etc.).
- Demonstrated work, personal experience in sports and entertainment, multi-cultural, technology, and lifestyle industries.
- Proven track-record of leading and growing designers.
- Portfolio that demonstrates a deep knowledge of brand systems applied across a variety of media (link to portfolio required).
- Experience across multiple channels (merchandise, digital, print, video, UX/UI)-enjoys working on big ideas and small points of execution, and everything in between.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to craft a story or concept so it's got teeth- shaping culture, not just reacting to it
- Comfort being hands-on and willing to do the work yourself, alongside a small and mighty team.
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery.
- Experience in working with fashion and apparel. Knowledge of the screenprinting + general production processes is a plus.
- Experience with layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web design
- Experience with Shopify, Clickfunnels, or other e-commerce platforms
- Experience generating eye-catching branded content around physical products and lifestyle brands.
