Position: Designer (Entry-Level or Mid-Level)
We are seeking a talented, full-time designer to join our design team. This is an in-office position, with the title determined based on experience and skill level. Our ideal candidate is highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator CC, excels in organization, and thrives under tight deadlines. This position requires both technical expertise and creative design abilities, as you will manage print deadlines and collaborate with clients on design revisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create seamless pattern repeats using Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Work non-destructively and efficiently in Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Set up files for grand-format printing, including scanning, scaling, retouching, color matching, and masking, while troubleshooting artwork issues during production.
- Match colors to Pantones and paint chips.
- Design custom patterns, murals, and signage based on client specifications.
- Collaborate daily with designers, project managers, and clients.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Interpret client mood boards and design intents.
- Maintain production files with precision and accuracy.
Optional Responsibilities:
- Create original artwork for in-house wallcovering collections.
- Participate in peer-led workshops to develop new design skills and explore various mediums.
Qualifications:
- Degree in design or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator is required; experience with InDesign is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Familiarity with reading architectural elevations is a plus.
- Strong grasp of design principles, color theory, and print production processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Outstanding file organization and archiving abilities.
- Candidates will be tested on their design skills.

Salary: $50k - $75k (Competitive and based on experience)
