Our client is an emerging global fashion network for shopping, working with some of the most influential creators, artists, athletes, and celebrities. They are currently looking to hire a full time Showroom Director with a passion and/or background within the arts and lifestyle culture.
This is a full time role, onsite in Soho 5 days/week.
They are seeking a dynamic Showroom Director to lead and manage their showroom operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the showroom, ensuring the space is impeccably organized, and that only the highest quality apparel is on display. You will also play a crucial role in shaping the customer experience by maintaining a visually appealing environment that reflects the company's standard and image.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring it's impeccably maintained, organized, and visually aligned.
- Ensure that visitors receive personalized attention and a premium showroom experience.
- Manage the loan process of fashion samples to stylists and media outlets, ensuring timely delivery, proper tracking, and returns. Maintain an up-to-date and accessible inventory system.
- Collaborate with the brand team to create stunning, editorial-ready displays and setups for seasonal collections and special events. Ensure displays are aligned with current trends and brand messaging.
- Lead, train, and manage a team of showroom assistants and interns, ensuring they are equipped with the tools to provide excellent client service and maintain showroom standards.
- Manage the showroom's operational budget, ensuring cost efficiency while maintaining high standards for the showroom environment.
- Track showroom traffic, loan requests, and event outcomes to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience working in luxury fashion or high-end PR showrooms, connected and passionate with this world
- Strong media network and established relationships with editors, stylists, and influencers.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion PR, showroom management, or related roles. Experience in managing fashion showroom operations is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of current fashion trends, media outlets, and influencer networks. Knowledge of luxury fashion brands and key players in the fashion PR space.
- Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with clients, press, and influencers in the fashion industry.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable interacting with high-profile clients and media professionals.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with sample management, showroom aesthetics, and event planning.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with showroom management software, CRM tools, and basic office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
