Innovative Intimates company looking for a talented, highly organized
Designer. Need someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, has a knack for knowing what's hot in the market, strives to bring newness to customers, loves working on big brands with big impact, is passionate about sustainability, and loves to learn about innovations in fabrication.
Can have Active, Underwear, Lounge, Bras, Sleep or Swim background. 3- 4 years' experience. Walmart experience a plus.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Designer will: Design bras, underwear, sleepwear, lounge, scrubs and thermals from initial concept through development of season.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with supervisor to design all the assortment by season
- CAD work for style development
- Create Tech Packs
- Create presentations decks
- Create and maintain line sheets within a season
Develop design samples with sample room
- Follow up on sample development by communicating with sample room
- Work with technical design team to ensure great fit on all garments
QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education)
- Knowledge of bras and undies
- 3-4 years related experience
- Keen eye for color, trend, detail, and construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, CAD and Mac computers
- Knowledge of Web PLM or similar program
- Ability to multi task, eye for detail with speed and agility
- Strong communicator and team player
- Must have entrepreneurial mindset
- Walmart experience a plus
Salary $90,000 - $95,000
